ANNOUNCEMENT: SUNDAY ROAST TAKEAWAY NOW AVAILABLE – CHECK OUT OUR MENU BELOW
Enjoy two gorgeous backdrops through our wonderful glass facade, a golf green and nature reserve.
Our pub is named after the local area Kings Meads with a nod to historic alcoholic beverages. The King’s Mead hosts a grand dining room space with two log fires fit for a King (and Queen!) and on sunny days you will love our wonderful sky view conservatory. We serve seasonal British food with tapas style dishes to share, heritage classics and proper Sunday roasts.
A real treat (before or after the pub) is a wander through Hertfordshire’s largest meadows the Kings Meads perfect for bird-watching, wildflowers and dog walking. Note that when visiting us well behaved pooches are welcome on our patio terrace and in the bar.
We hope you love our new home as much as we do. Julia and the team look forward to greeting you.
